Endoscopy | EGD: White fibrous bolus in cardia. The bolus can be pushed into the stomach without significant pressure. In the area of the bolus, there is circular reddened mucosa of the oesophagus. |
The middle third of the eosophagus shows a thickened whitish mucosa with typical linear grooves. The pliers-biopsy leads to a strong burst of the mucosa. Significant hypomotility of the oesophagus.
Oesophagus mucosa with moderat florid chronic oesophagitis and more severe tissue eosinophilia.
