|Anamnesis||18 years old patient, who had after an abundant meat meal globus sensation, dysphagia, and regurgitation. He wasn´t able to drink liquids.|
|Examination findings||No physical examination findings|
|Endoscopy||EGD: White fibrous bolus in cardia. The bolus can be pushed into the stomach without significant pressure. In the area of the bolus, there is circular reddened mucosa of the oesophagus.|
The middle third of the eosophagus shows a thickened whitish mucosa with typical linear grooves. The pliers-biopsy leads to a strong burst of the mucosa. Significant hypomotility of the oesophagus.
Oesophagus mucosa with moderat florid chronic oesophagitis and more severe tissue eosinophilia.
